About the Author
Imam Abu Bakr al-Khallal (d. 311H) was one of the foremost scholars of the Hanbali school and among the most important preservers of the teachings of Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal. He travelled extensively throughout the Muslim world collecting knowledge and narrations from the students of Imam Ahmad, dedicating his life to preserving and compiling his legal rulings and scholarly legacy.
