About the Author
Shaykh Muhammad ibn Salih al-Uthaymeen (1925–2001 CE / 1347–1421 AH) was one of the most distinguished Islamic scholars of the modern era. Born on the 27th night of the blessed month of Ramadan in 1347 AH (1929 CE) in Unaizah, a city in the Al-Qassim region of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Shaykh al-Uthaymeen belonged to the noble Banu Tamim tribe.
